Just relaxing...

We're embracing the art of laziness down here.

One day seems to morph into another...then another. It's fine with me.
I am beginning to miss my children, although I probably wouldn't be spending much time with them if I were back home.
They seem to have their own lives.
No one warned me about that.

I've become slightly obsessed with burp cloths. You can find a tutorial HERE

I'm planning a craft show next Fall and I think I'll add these to my menu!
Notice the cow print?
I have quite a bit of material left after making TeacherGirl's class cow costumes.
I thought that project would never end...but it did, and I was sad.

I'm hoping one of my grandbabies will be a girl...I have accumulated quite a bit of pink fabric over the years.
After having two boys I was in a pink frenzy for years. I'd love to have a tiny girly-girl to sew for again.
I'd also love to have a sweet little boy...seems either way I'll be blessed.

For now my most frequent company is furry and bone-chewing. I don't mind.
Unconditional love is the best.

Be back soon...

  3. Your blog has touched my heart. I enjoyed the read and the music. My nest is recently empty with two children away at college and the "re-feathering" has not begun just yet. Again - Thank you for sharing.
