Never Too Old For Daddy-Daughter Day!!

It's White Sox baseball season here in Chicago...yes, we do have another team called the Cubs, but we on the South Side do our best to ignore them. It's a very serious rivalry.
Teacher-Girl is engaged to a Cubs fan...he's very lucky we're allowing this marriage to take place. We still feel we have time to rescue him from the Dark Side...if not, an intervention might be in order.
Sunday was Father-Daughter Day at the field and we were ready!

The girls love to get together, no matter how old they are... the giggling never stops. I felt like they were little again, until Maggie saw one of her students and stopped giggling...just for a minute! Big Daddy wore his "Good Luck Jersey" so we were pretty sure of a win...well, we were hoping...

We were allowed to enter the field through the tunnel before the game started...

We were NOT allowed to step anywhere near the grass... Big-Daddy and Maggie some people thought it was funny to put one foot on the field in order to get a rise out of the "grass-police"...this was done until it was no longer funny...cute flip flops though...

It was fun seeing everything at eye level...

Sweep that plate boys!!...

And we strolled by those pesky Cleveland Indians!!...we should have told them not to bother with the practice!...{I should be nicer, we only won by one run}. But there's really no "nice" in baseball...and one run is enough.

I'll leave you with one of the greatest things baseball has to offer...

 {A true Chicago Dog does NOT have ketchup...Maggie loves ketchup,
I obviously made a few mistakes in raising her}
