I was raised Catholic, had 14 years of Catholic education, and raised 4 children in Catholic faith. All I'm going to say is...at times I long for something more...something a little less rigid...something with less rules...

I did not find it today.

The mass started wonderfully... the pastor was charismatic, and the music selection was upbeat...

There were two featured speakers, and the subject was homosexuality. I expected at the very least, a dose of tolerance, instead we were given a
lecture on how homosexuality is not natural, approved by God, or accepted in any way. Yikes. I presumed the second speaker was there to argue this point.
{She was not}. She was a "former homosexual" who decided to become straight in order to live more fully in God's presence...alrighty then...

We left early...

and we did what we had to do...
