Timing has never worked well for me...
...and that's why my bathroom sinks and counters are laying on my front lawn.
I'm positive the neighbors are peeking at me from behind their curtains.
I can feel their eyes.
And I know they're wondering what the crazy lady is changing now, and why is she taking pictures.
After eighteen wonderful years in this house, it's time to update the upstairs bathrooms.

The "kid's bathroom" isn't really a "kid's bathroom" anymore.
When MollDoll comes home she owns this room, but most of the year it remains empty, unused, and lonely.
This was the bathroom that caused many sister vs. brother feuds. It was here that prom makeup was applied, stinky boy socks were left on the floor, and tears were shed over teenage dramas.
When TeacherGirl comes home for a special event, she rules this bathroom.

I'm doing my best to reuse as many fixtures as possible. I seem to be a little more frugal and green in my twilight years!
I have often been called cheap....by two nameless blonde girls.
I'll be heading to Florida in a few days, and leaving the supervision of this project in the hands of BigDaddy.
Like I said, timing has never worked well for me.
I am a poor scheduler.
I'm a little worried, but every so often I've been forced to walk away from a project. And so far, things have turned out just fine...knock on wood.
There's always a mess waiting for me, but I've gotten used to that.
I'm still one hell of a floor scrubber.
