Pumpkin Patch...

...it was a scary good time!

It's been a few years since we went to Bengston's

We were here every year when the kiddos were small.
It seems like yesterday.

The farm has expanded throughout the years, but these two characters have stood the test of time.

Did you hear about the Massachusetts family that called 911 because they were lost in the corn maze?
I thought about that but I went in anyway. I'm such a daredevil.
I followed the kids...

I remember when they used to follow me everywhere.
The dogs don't even follow me anymore.

There was only one thing that sparked some interest for the men, and it wasn't the mini pumpkins.
But no one had the nerve to buy a pork chop when I had a pot of chili waiting at home.

As we left we noticed the talented pumpkin man working his magic.

But LawyerBoy seems to have some talent too.
He went home and carved his own masterpiece!
Carolyn is so lucky.

Hope you're enjoying some Halloween festivities in your town!
If so, let me know!!

  1. He can come round and carve my pumpkin whenever he likes - Hallowe'en is my birthday and I always have a pumpkin out in the garden - but never as scary as that one.

  3. What a lovely post. The music playing right now is perfect for this sentimental little journey.

How has the time gone so fast?

How is it that we aren't holding our own children's hands on these little Halloween journeys?
