P is for Piping...Mosaic Monday

Good God, my boy is piping!

I was going to start this post by saying... Good God, my boy is wearing a skirt...
But after seeing so many strapping, handsome young men in the same uniform,
I know better...and of course I know it's a kilt.

LawyerBoy has added yet another musical instrument to his repertoire...after the tuba I thought the instruments might get smaller...and less expensive.

Didn't happen.

Poor Carolyn has been living with LawyerBoy for just a few months, and I'm guessing she loves him
quite a bit to listen to him practice the pipes.

(It's not a warm, soothing type of sound!)

He usually goes to the cemetery to practice but the weather is rather chilly here in Chicago.
Thankfully his neighbors are either Irish...People who love the Pipes...Chicago Police...and Chicago Fireman.
This neighborhood has welcomed the piper, and I have welcomed the fact that he doesn't live at home.

It's once again that time of year. Time to dye the Chicago River green.

Turn off my playlist at the bottom of this blog if you'd like to hear the video!
Interesting to see how they add the dye!

It's quite an honor to be able to pipe with the Shannon Rovers in Chicago's St. Patrick's Day parade.
Hope LawyerBoy has enough air...it's not as easy as it looks.
We fought the crowds and eventually managed to find a spot.

Here's a whole lot few pictures from the parade...

(This is the Mayor's last St. Pat's Parade)

We ended the day with a beautiful wedding.
My nephew Eddie married his beautiful Jami at Holy Name Cathedral.
And although these two little ones almost stole the show...

Eddie and Jamie shined...

I'm linking up with Mary for Mosaic Monday.
