Wedding Planning...

Maggie and I decided to look at "Save-the-Date" cards today. The wedding isn't until June, but since it's such a busy time for weddings, we decided to send out these cards in October. We headed to Sass-N-Class in downtown Hinsdale.
It's a charming store...

And although it's small, the selection was plentiful...

TeacherGirl had a great time...she's used to sitting at a desk!

We also decided on a florist today. Maggie has visions of hydrangeas and peonies!

I keep thinking we have plenty of time, but everyone keeps reminding me that June is quite a busy month. Perhaps I keep procrastinating because I really don't want to see her married?!
No, I don't think it's that...her Bryan is a perfect match and we're glad to have him join our family. I just think it's one more reminder of how fast life is spinning by.
When they're little the days are filled with so much commotion that you forget to notice the small things. You rush through the day at warp speed trying to get everything done...when really we should be living in the moments.

Because...

Soon this day...

becomes this day...

...and all you did was blink an eye.

Her flowers will be gorgeous! And I can't wait to see more pictures as you go through all the wedding preparations.

  3. I've been there! My youngest turned 30 this summer and had a baby! Incredible that the time has passed so quickly. But I have always felt that the next stage was the best stage.
