Carolyn and LawyerBoy came over for a visit, and they brought Jenny and Pam, {Carolyn's lovely sisters}. I never thought I did well with spur of the moment get-togethers, but I surprised myself this time. Yes, I shoved things into drawers and hid dirty laundry under the couch, but everyone does that don't they?
I could have spent a little time on my hair though.

I didn't think the day could get any better...until my dear friend Pam stopped by with her hubby. Pam taught all four of my children in second grade, and she was an awesome influence on them, as well as any other child lucky enough to have a seat in her classroom. All my children have kept a huge place in their heart for her. Michael asked Pam to do a reading at his wedding ceremony last October.
She's that one special teacher they'll love forever!

And although her presence was more than enough...
she also brought an Oberweiss Peppermint Ice Cream Pie...and I quickly hid an extra piece for later...right next to the Lean Cuisine and the broccoli.

The weather's been hot and humid so everyone swam... {including me!!}

Carolyn and Jerry ignored my "No glass near the pool" rule. In fact it kinda looks as if they're mocking me here don't you think?...

Cooper once again did his "Portuguese Water Dog Dance". 

I need to record this next time...

It was a great day...

And for me...a great evening too!
