Chemo...Speeding...and Puppies

Lisa had her chemo today.
All went well...as well as chemotherapy goes...

UIC has an awesome team of infusion nurses...if you have to experience chemo,  you can't do much better than THIS...

We watched Fergie explain to Oprah why it was necessary for her to sell Royal Secrets for lots of money...poor Fergie, it seems she can't control her shopping addiction! Poor thing.

We were in a huge hurry to return home today...Lisa's new puppy was waiting to meet her. So we exceeded Chicago's recommended speed limit, and it was worth a possible close encounter with Chicago's finest!

Here's Casey...

And here's Palmer wondering..."is she staying here??"

..."will she touch my stuff??"

I think she's staying Palmer...

I think she's a keeper...!

Casey is now named Hannah

  1. what a cute cute puppy!!!

What kind of cancer does Lisa have? My Mom has cervical.

  2. Hi Kim,

She has a recurrence of ovarian. She was diagnosed about 8 years ago...had surgery...and was cancer free until a couple of years ago. It's still considered ovarian even though her ovaries are gone.

  3. Pets do wonders for the soul!!! They're like medicine without the side effects!!! Can't imagine my life without my BuBbLeS :)
