Mind if we take a trip back to Christmas Eve?...

I just looked over the pics I took on Christmas Eve and thought I'd share them. Sorry about my lack of chronological order, but I didn't have my new camera with me in Florida.
So even though I've already posted all about New Years, here's a little peek at our December 24th!

Grandma spent the evening with us, she's 87 now, with a photographic memory!...

Molly and I were glad to have more help in the kitchen...

We tried a new recipe...Creamy Horseradish & Dill Dip...(recipe below)

We've never wanted to be vegetarians, and Christmas Eve is always proof of that...

Uncle Ron (the best Chicago Firefighter we know!) and his wife Lynne joined us this year...Bryan's dad and his fiance, Donna also celebrated with us!

Everyone seemed to enjoy dinner...

and the rest of the evening...

We missed Michael and Margaret, but we forgave them for going on their honeymoon!! They called (from the beach) to wish us a Merry Christmas!
The season goes so fast, so this year I spent more time enjoying, and a little less time preparing. Molly was a great help for me, and I think she learned a few things in the process. I was quite blessed this season, and we're all very grateful.

Creamy Horseradish and Dill Dip

8 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 c prepared horseradish
2T whole milk (or cream)
1/4 tsp of Kosher salt
2T chopped fresh dill

Mix first four ingredients until fluffy, stir in dill.
Serve with crackers, celery, carrots, and sliced cukes!
