It seems I have too much time on my hands.
Although this weekend was warm and summery, I still felt the pull of Autumn.
And that means more baking.
We visited the MollDoll this weekend, and we brought the food of course.
I'm sure she'd be happy to see us if we came empty-handed, but I would never chance that.
Besides, we enjoy a good meal before (and after) the game.
TeacherGirl and Bryan joined us.
It wasn't planned that these two girlies would wear the same jersey, it's just sister-intuition.
(Yes, that's my wonderful son-in-law on the left)
He is wonderful.
My Taffy Apple Cookies were the biggest hit.
I've made these since TeacherGirl was born. If you'd like something that looks festive, here's the RECIPE.
It's a simple butter cookie dipped in caramel. (If you have a favorite butter cookie you could use that of course.)
Just remember to stick the pick in before the cookie hardens...not that I ever made that mistake
Here's to the MollDoll's last year of college life.
May her decorating ideas improve after graduation.
