Our drive did not consist of football chat. LawyerBoy and Carolyn were with us so we girls dominated the conversation with wedding talk. But I did clutch the tickets in my hand the entire ride...it's one of many kooky "good luck" superstitions I've adopted over the years.
Don't ask.
Don't ask.
Our first tailgate was a huge success. We downsized our usual spread and decided not to grill (Oh My!!!). All our guests, (students included), happily dined on JIMMYJOHNS along with our usual chips/salsa/assorted cookie spread. No one seemed to miss the "grilling of the burgers", especially the vegetarian friends Molly seems to attract. This gave BigDaddy plenty of down time.
We do love our "J" lot...
(How about that banner bloggy gals?)
We were so happy to see Molly. I know it's only been two weeks, but I'm a little
attached to her...
Her dorm once again represented true Catholic values ; )
We enjoyed the usual pre-game festivities...
And the game...
As always, the Notre Dame student section was energized!
This year they're a sea of green...
Thank you Touchdown Jesus.
It turned out to be a beautiful day.
