Yet Another Day in Paradise...

After yesterday's knife incident it wasn't odd that Cooper woke up a little leery of me... 

We were both grateful that breakfast occurred without injury to either woman or dog. Cooper did have a close encounter with some geese during our morning stroll...fortunately Cooper's little doggie legs were not a match for the wings on his prey...

...off they flew leaving Cooper dejected.

The rest of our day was uneventful...we took a drive, went to the beach, ate a little too much...

and made friends with Ralph...

{Ralph was recovering from a recent car injury and had free reign at the beach. He strolled around unleashed and paid absolutely no attention to Cooper}

Being that this is the week after Easter, the beaches are packed and the parking is scarce, but we made it through...

I apologize for the rather bland tone of this post, I think I'll blame it on the residual effects of yesterday's codeine consumption...It was a beautiful, relaxing day on the Gulf Coast, and I will continue to thank God that I still have two thumbs.
