Football Sunday...Go Colts!

The kids came over today (except Molly)...Maggie brought her laundry (I did not do it, she did). Jerry and Carolyn brought their wedding guest list and tried to make it smaller...and Margaret was her usual happy self, while her husband Mike (my offspring) did his best to avoid any pictures.
We did some i-chatting with Molly...

I made a wonderful dinner, but first we had an appetizer I've been making for years (and years)...

FRESH VEGETABLE PIZZA

Ingredients:

2-8oz Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
1-8oz carton sour cream
1-2T horseradish
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2c fresh mushrooms, chopped
1c chopped seeded tomatoes
1c chopped broccoli florets
1/2c chopped green pepper
1/2c chopped green onions

Heat oven to 375 degrees (350 for convection ovens). Separate dough into 4 rectangles and place crosswise on an ungreased cookie sheet, press perforations together and inch up the sides to form a crust edge. Bake 10-14min...until lightly browned, then let cool.
In a small bowl mix sour cream, horseradish, salt, pepper, and blend until smooth. Spread evenly over crust. Top with remaining ingredients. Cut into small appetizer-size pieces. Refrigerate for an hour or more. An oldie, but goodie...
