Thanks Molly!

Just a little holiday baking.....Molly and I managed to crank out some cookies. Cornflake Christmas Wreaths and Oreo Truffles....we always seem to have time for these two favorites.

Cornflake Wreaths


1/2 cup butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract ( or you can use 1/2 tsp almond extract & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract )
1 tsp green food coloring
4 cups cornflakes
1bag of cinnamon red hots


Using a double boiler, melt butter and marshmallows, quickly add extract, then cornflakes and stir with a buttered spoon. Drop by spoonfuls in clumps on greased wax paper, decorate with red hots. 
These are fun cookies, not gourmet treats! They are rather tasty though!
