Plastic vs. Deer

We have a "deer problem"!  In November, Big Daddy covered the bottom half  of our evergreens with a beautiful material that resembles trash bags. Personally I feel bad for the deer and not the evergreens. We have been lucky enough to see the deer in our yard and I have to admit, it's quite a beautiful sight. Unfortunately when spring arrives our evergreens are completely naked at the bottom. This plastic barricade also prevents our Ozzie from doing his "business" on the evergreens. As you can see Ozzie looks quite confused and forlorn.

Here's what our lovely evergreens look like after our hungry deer visit...

Notice the lack of greenery on the bottom half of the evergreens! I still feel for the hungry deer and their babies!
